"My work is centered in liberation, healing, quality, prosperity, and humanity. As a black woman, being creative is easy. As a creator, Writing, producing, directing, and archiving are my outlets for storytelling and truth-sharing, allowing me to pursue my dreams.
I'm honored to be building and contributing to a generation of black [women] creators speaking life into current times. There was a time growing up, covering black culture or working on black things was deemed as limiting, negative. Thank goodness we are defying that.
I honor, advocate and center black [women's] experiences in my art, because we are radical even when we don't choose to be."
